Some tips to make your next Google search easier

Look, I’m sure you know what Google is. I’m sure you know what Googling is. This Guide will jump straight into how you can more effectively find what you want through Google.

Use Quotation Marks for phrases

If you want to google a phrase that should be together, use quotation marks. While Google is often smart enough to decipher when certain words should go together, some obscure phrases may be missed out from Google’s algorithm. In fact, it’s a good idea to use quotation marks around your phrase, even if Google can understand it without. This is because it may sometimes return more search results. As Google explains it, using quotation marks forces Google to look deeper into their database to find all the relevant results that matches the user’s search criteria.

Use the minus sign (-) to remove ambiguity
